Arts for Charity is an event created by Leslie Maloof, Elise MacDonald and Sara Prindiville.
In 2006 Photographers Sara Prindiville and Sid Ceaser held a charity art sale event from their studio with sale proceeds going to the Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter. They had great success with the event; 60 pieces of artwork from 40 artists in the Southern NH region participated, with over $1,000.00 being donated to the Shelter.
For 2009, we are looking to expand the sale with participation from Studio 99 and Warm Stone Studio, and we will be generating 50% of all proceeds to the Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity. Each artist participating in the sale agrees to donate 50% of each sale to the non-profit. During the 2006 sale, some artists donated a full 100% to the charity.
